Calendula, Honey and Milk - Oh Yeah!

I have been promising you all a soap tutorial, which I did actually make about 2 weeks ago and then scrapped as it really wasn't good, sorry!
As soon as I have an extra hand to help me with the filming I will be back with the soap tutorial for you.

In the meantime I have been busy creating new soaps that will be available to purchase from my Etsy Store soon :).

Today's creation is called "Calendula Milk and Honey"

These bars have the added benefit of Calendula Oil which works wonders on dry, chapped skin. It looks great and smells heavenly already!

I can't wait until tomorrow! I will update as soon as I have unmoulded and cut it :)

See you tomorrow.

  1. Looks great! I have been harvesting my calendula with plans to make a salve with calendula and comfrey.

  2. Like the sound of that soap. It looks very pretty the way you have poured it into the mold.
I also currently picking and drying my calendula to make some salve. I made some last year but I think I may have got oil/wax proportions slightly wrong as it was a bit too soft.

    1. Hi Emma,
Yes I generally also would make a salve, but I know that in S.A. my Calendula soap was such a hit and I just love making them (I used to make melt and pour). You should be able to heat up your salve and add a little more wax if it is too soft, maybe try that?
      Thanks for visiting.
